People
come to consult with me on a wide variety of problems and different
objectives. Problems range from chronic headache and general fatigue to
terminal stages of cancer. Objectives range from critical care on
urgent priority to recovery of general health and enhancement of
well-being. In all cases, an initial consultation is held along with
the completion of a preliminary information sheet for my evaluation of
the case. The information gathered in this consultation helps me arrive
at an appropriate plan of coaching or consultation to achieve your
objectives.
The
initial consultation is perhaps the most comprehensive that you would
ever experience with a health professional, and typically lasts 2 to 4
hours. Subsequent consultations take about 45 minutes to an hour each
time.
Because
of the time consuming nature of my work, I can only undertake a limited
number of personal coaching assignments at any given time. The coaching
option is the best value for your money—it gives you a consultation
that includes an educational module and monitoring session initiated by
me, and a number of personal consultations over phone or email at your
initiative. For most long-term health benefits, a coaching plan is
recommended. Coaching contracts last from 2 to 6 months or more, and
depend on your health objectives, your present health condition,
long-term prognosis, and other factors. Time estimates will be
discussed with you before starting on any plan so we can monitor your
progress. Coaching services can be cancelled at any time with a week's
notice, and will take effect at close of the month already paid for.
Plan 1: Basic Coaching.
This is for those a) with a specific health problem, and/or b) who are
somewhat knowledgeable about dietary approaches to health and about
nutrition/physiology/ medical issues, and/or c) who are prepared to do
a good deal of self-education (8-10 hrs/week) with guidance. This plan
involves an educational module every week, and two personal
consultations every month for monitoring progress and answering
questions.
Plan 2: Lifestyle coaching.
Suitable for those a) who have little or no knowledge as described
above, and/or b) who do not have at least 8-10 hrs per week to do their
own research, and/or c) who would like to have easier access to
information as well as closer monitoring of transition to better health
through lifestyle changes. This plan includes a weekly educational
module and typically upto four personal consultations during the month.
Plan 3: Intensive coaching.
Ideal for those who a) have no time to work on information gathering,
who would like a ready reference to turn to at any time for short
consultations, and/or b) would like to achieve significant and
permanent changes in their lifestyles and health, and/or c) those who
wish to go well beyond changes in their own lives and wish to gain
enough knowledge to start their own research and education activities,
and/or d) would like to achieve independence in their own healthcare as
quickly as possible. This plan involves a weekly educational module,
and monitoring / feedback / Q&A sessions as many times as needed,
either by me or by you. This requires a good deal of time investment on
your part as well for feedback purposes as well as information
gathering.
Again,
the best option depends on many factors, and it is best to decide after
an initial consultation, when I'll be in a better position to assist
you in addressing your concerns.
Consultations
may be over phone (max 45 min) or via email. The monthly
charges are payable in full at the beginning of each month (1st of the
month) through Paypal online in the case of long-distance clients.
Local clients may pay through Paypal or in cash. No other form of
payment is available at this time, sorry for any inconvenience.
ContributionsI
dislike the concept of “charges” for my services. I prefer to think of
it as an exchange of contributions: I contribute to your health and you
contribute to my sustenance. Unfortunately, we all have to depend on
money for a living.
Individual consultationsThe
following sliding scale for individual consultations is based on your
current savings plus income in the past year (CS+IPY). I believe in the
inherent goodness of people and in your integrity in determining what
your contribution will be.

For
all coaching plans following an initial consultation, a part of the
contribution for initial consultation in the amount of $30 is credited
to the first month’s coaching.
NOTE:
Hypnotherapy services are independently offered; contributions for
hypnotherapy services are individually determined, and are separate
from the health education and coaching services discussed in this
document.
NOTE
ON COMMUNICATION: While local clients may schedule in-person
consultations, all other cases are handled over phone and email. For
persons calling from outside the United States, but also for domestic
long-distance clients, communication via Skype is the preferred mode
for audio communication. Email is always the most viable.
